Trade accounts are opening soon
They are not open today. There is no application to fill in, no waiting list, and nothing on this page you need to do — we would rather say that plainly than take an email address and leave you wondering.
What a trade account is meant to cover
The site is being built so that the trade version is a switch rather than a rebuild. These are the intentions, not an offer:
- Ex-VAT pricing shown throughout, which the price model already supports — every product carries a VAT class and prices are stored ex-VAT.
- Ordering by the pallet or by the landing, rather than one leaf at a time.
- Sizes, weights and trimming allowances on the page, so a schedule can be priced without a phone call.
What has not been decided
Naming these is more useful than a page of benefits that might not survive the supplier agreement.
- OpenTrade pricing and whether it is tiered by volume or by account
- OpenCredit terms, if any are offered at all
- OpenDelivery, which has no confirmed carrier or rate yet
There is no contact address published on the site yet either, which is the other reason there is no form here. When one exists it will appear in the footer on every page.
Useful in the meantime
Everything a trade buyer needs to price a job is already public — sizes, weights, trimming allowances and the fire-door guidance. None of it is behind an account.
Retail and trade prices alike are guide prices at this stage. Threshen confirms the real figure before anything is ordered.
